It's been a while

Man I can't believe how fast the time flies when you get busy.
and of course if you aren't careful you can forget all about the little things that
help you get business...
Like maintaining a blog...

I haven't posted here since last year.

Frantic frantic frantic.

And of course, no one comes back to read my stuff because it's become static.

It's too easy to get caught up in the day to day, and forget the stuff that gets you
business in the first place.
Like sending thank you notes, mailing the odd postcard or two.
Keeping blogs fresh, and all the articles that need to be written and posted around
the place.
etc. The rule of thumb for service marketers is 25% of your time should go to
marketing.

Wow.

Anyway, by way of an update, I attended Brett McFall, Tom Hua and Ted Ciuba's World
Internet Summit here on the Gold Coast last week.

It was an unreal networking event -- I have never met so many switched on people all
in one place, and the presenters were good too :-)

I saw a 20 year old kid sell $175,000 worth of stuff in less then 2 minutes at the
end of his presentation.

He was the only presenter to have people crawling onto the stage with their credit
cards in their hands -- literally.

Would you like to have his selling skills for your business?

I am currently negotiating rights to produce a sales "how to" for anyone who
presents from a stage.
